Integrated Modular Floor System | GSMOD MiC Solutions

Integrated Modular Floor System

Our modular floor system is a factory-prefabricated solution designed for structural reliability, thermal efficiency, and acoustic performance. Each layer is precisely integrated within the module to form a complete floor assembly, reducing on-site work while ensuring compliance with international building standards.

Modular Floor Structure System

The modular floor system features a high-performance multi-layer configuration, engineered for durability, moisture control, and finishing flexibility. The typical build-up includes:

Waterproof and breathable membrane for moisture protectionCement fiberboard base panels for strength and stabilityGypsum-based self-leveling layer for a smooth, even surfaceFinal surface layer adaptable to various finishes

Each layer works as part of an integrated system, ensuring long-term performance and compatibility with different flooring materials such as vinyl, tiles, or wood.

Factory-Installed Structural Bottom Deck

The floor system begins with a robust structural bottom deck, securely fixed to the steel frame in a controlled factory environment. This layer forms the primary enclosure of the floor module, providing essential support and protecting internal components.

Factory installation ensures precise alignment, consistent quality, and improved structural integrity compared to traditional on-site construction methods.

Rock Wool Insulation Within Steel Frame

High-density rock wool insulation is installed within the steel floor cavity to enhance both thermal and acoustic performance. The material is non-combustible, providing excellent fire resistance while reducing heat transfer and sound transmission between floors.

Pre-installed in the factory, the insulation ensures full coverage without gaps, improving energy efficiency and indoor comfort.

Cement Fiberboard Base Panel

Cement fiberboard is used as a structural base layer to enhance load distribution and system stability. It delivers excellent performance in terms of moisture resistance, fire safety, and dimensional stability, minimizing the risk of warping or degradation over time.

Its rigid and durable properties provide a reliable foundation for self-leveling compounds and final floor finishes, ensuring consistent performance in modular construction applications.

Configurable Material Options for Modular Floor Systems

The modular floor system is composed of multiple engineered layers, each serving a specific function to ensure overall performance and durability. From structural support to moisture protection and surface finishing, all materials are carefully selected and integrated into a unified system.

The typical configuration includes a waterproof and breathable membrane, cement fiberboard base panels, a gypsum-based self-leveling layer, and a final surface finish. Beneath the structural frame, high-density rock wool insulation enhances thermal efficiency, acoustic performance, and fire resistance.
